Fate/Stay Night will be 24 episodes long, longer than Shingetsutan Tsukihime.

I've only watched up to 8 episodes, but I've been impressed. I can't really give you a comparison between Fate/Stay Night and Shingetsutan Tsukihime since I've only watched one episode of Shingetsutan Tsukihime. Still, Fate/Stay story has been pretty entertaining to watch. 7 Masters, each summon a Servant. 7 Masters with their Servant battle it out to gain access to Holy Grail, which would grant any desire the Master and his or her Servant wish. The Master and Servant each get a wish each.

The Servants were champions of the past, I believe real champions from the past in our world.

Interesting set characters, good OP in Disillusion and TYPE-MOON excellent plot. It's drama and action genre anime. I don't think it's exactly like Shingetsutan Tsukihime, but if you liked Shingetsutan Tsukihime, then you should watch this series. To my knowledge, all characters from the game are going to be in the anime, unlike Shingetsutan Tsukihime, which left out characters from the game.
