Because they get such thrills out of unfavourably comparing things and claiming that everything's a rip off of another show instead of daring to consider things with similar influences or techniques can be separate?

If they've only got 6 episodes left, I don't see how they're going to feasibly introduce two new pillars and Mai, and also resolve the plot threads flapping in the wind without turning the series into a shambles. Really hope they don't pull a HiME, where they lay out this elaborate cause for all of them to fight (i.e. the HiME festival and the red star) which is resolved in about two seconds, to speed the transition to the heroine's and otherwise useless hero's final boss showdown.
