Ooh, this year was the first time I actually enjoyed this day, simply because I wasn't alone. I had talked about it with my girl and we both agreed that we didn't need a day invented by industry to tell us that we love each other (we do that every day anyway), but a week later she dropped a line like, "well, I DID prepare something for you/us... but it's nothing spectacular" - err, and here I thought she was going to stick to our agreement... nevertheless, it was a fun evening because (just as I expected) she did something I always wanted her to do... it's great when you get your wishes read from your lips. I also got an extremely nice card and chocolate, very lovely.

Although she didn't want me to give her anything in return, I'll make up her effort soon for her upcoming birthday... working on it right now... mwahahahah!
