that's pretty true, the game reviewing system is bad, but I think it has more to do with the fact that video games aren't generally thought as art but as entertainment, and the market does not leave much room for innovation. The way that games are reviewed is a reflect of how society sees video gaming, the review system isn't broken, our society is shallow.
