I don't have a problem with giving videogames scores like a movie review does but I agree that reviewers aren't taking the right look at these games. I may be biased because I'm not a huge fan of the GTA series in general but I definitely agree with this article. I also haven't played GTA 4 but it sounds like its the same game as previous titles with better graphics and features. Devs rely on making sequels of successful franchises as their bread and butter and the reviewers love them because they give them just the same or better scores as their predecessors because of better graphics or more features but really its the same base.
