I do recommend watching it but be prepared for the ending. I don't want to give it away but I found the ending a bit sad and depressing although many others who have seen it will think differently.

I really do wonder if Yorito ever questioned Aono's never changing or aging physical appearance, let alone his. It looked like she created him around 100 years before the present day story began and yet he never seemed to have that thought. It's funny considering Matsuri said he had a mind of his own despite being created by Aono.

Likely one of those things that was never explain. You known Aono had to move often since people start raising a eyebrow that she was never aging. She might have recreated Yorito over and over again. Breaking him down, then recreating him. It's well within her power to do just that.
