Oh hey, I didn't realise it was from that perspective, from my first view it was where Alto was seen in the distant background behind the chick... and I didn't scroll down to see the second part of Alto looking up in awe.

But what I meant by "sold out" was that they're going full force with that cliche anime thing which Macross has mostly avoided for a long time... but now... well it's pretty much like every other anime now... the uniqueness has been washed away after all these years... it's a shame, but it was bound to happen. They're still going to try to be true to the original concepts but it's no longer anywhere near the Macross we used to know.

So in other words, they sold out because they want to try to attract that larger audience using methods and styles which are prominent on other animes.

...obviously I don't approve... it's BGC2040 all over again x.x

Finally caught up with Frontier, I wasn't really paying attention to it lately... I actually had the first 3 eps on my PC for awhile but haven't watched it till now... it's okay, still not anywhere near as awesome as SDF and Plus but *shrugs* It's pretty good for something that's gone mainstream.

It's funny how much they're following the plot and event points from SDF Macross though... it's pretty much the biggest thing that's making me enjoy Frontier so far.

Oh, and I spotted a Destroid Monster... at least I spotted the distinctive eye which is painted on Destroid Monsters... I still hate it how the first episode showed Tanks instead of Destroids...
