I just looked at an article (im going to try and look it up) where Nine inch Nails, whom recently didnt reup their contract with their record label, allowed some half of their new album to be absolutely free on the internet
however one can purchase the rest of the album in a protected digital format for like $5.
double disc set for like $15
then various special editions for even higher price
the vary limited version that costs $300 that feature's trent reznor's audigraphed, which had about 2500 units. completely sold out.
