Now let's go through all the names and see what these guys have done...
The director did the storyboard, character design and opening key animation for Gasaraki... and also did a lot of stuff for a few Gundam series, mostly Gundam Wing. Also worked on Samurai Champloo and Witch Hunter Robin.
The guy who does the screenplay/script also worked on Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex, series 1 and 2 as well as Samurai Champloo.
The guy who does the music also worked on Blood: The Last Vampire and Dead Leaves.
The character designer has worked on both Armitage movies as well as the Blue Gender movie. He's also done the character design for Gantz, did the key animation for that lil anime part of Kill Bill, worked on a couple of Gundam series... and most interestingly was the animation director for Parasite Dolls.
Weyhey! Yutaka Izubuchi is the design assistant. He's worked on the storyboard for the Cowboy Bebop movie, was the armour design consultant for the Escaflowne movie, did the mecha design for Gasaraki, was the original protect suit designer for Jin-Roh (very cool). This guy is also listed as "Mechanic Design Cooperation" for Macross: Do You Rememeber Love? and has worked on a number of Gundam series. He's also the guy behind the mecha work on Patlabor (movies, tv series and ova)... But most importantly, he is the original creator of RahXephon.
And the design work is done by Michiaki Sato and Yoshinori Sayama. Sato has worked on Arjuna and RahXephon. Sayama has worked on Arjuna, Cowboy Bebop (series and movie), Macross Plus, Patlabor, and RahXephon.
Damn, they've got a pretty kickass lineup. I love the fact that Yutaka Izubuchi is a part of this in some way XD
