I'm pretty late to the game on most things, but if you're like me, maybe you haven't heard about the beta-testing that has been going on at Youtube to allow higher-quality versions of videos to be viewed.
This does not work for all videos, but if you add the parameter:
to the end of a Youtube video hyperlink, you may end up seeing a higher-quality video. Example:
Low Qual:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=TSRcPRIWB9o
http://youtube.com/watch?v=WQY71KoERak
Higher Qual:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=TSRcPRIWB9o&fmt=18
http://youtube.com/watch?v=WQY71KoERak&fmt=18
As I mentioned, it doesn't work on all videos, so check around to see what does and doesn't work. Anything that has high-speed motion in it will likely benefit (like race vids, airshows, etc).
