Had a small white dog follow my mom and little sister to our flat yesterday, I didn't know about it until my younger sister told me. It just sat outside the front of our door with a lost look begging to come in, only problem was that my mom didn't want to let it in and we weren't looking for a pet anyway. The dog was also shivering from the windy weather so me and my lil sis got a small jacket and towel and put it on the dog.
It also looked hungry and thirsty so I gave small piece of avocado sushi but I don't think it wanted to eat that (mom brought home a sushi pack since she knows I like eating those XD-we didn't have any doggy treats since we don't have a pet anyway), I also put out a small bowl of water for the dog too which it did drink a little.
Since we live in a flat, I assumed the dog's owner must've also lived in the same flat as we did so we waited for someone to turn up looking for their dog. After about 20 minutes and nobody turned up I was considering on calling the RSPCA (a national animal care organization here in Australia) to report on a lost dog but at the last minute decided to knock around my neighbours doors and ask if the dog was theirs.
When I tried to pick up and carry the dog to go around asking my neighbours I thought the dog would run away but it was pretty gentle and I carried it with ease. The dog didn't even make any fuss as I carried it lol. Asking the neighbours ended up with no help since none of them were the owners of the dog and they didn't know who the owner was.
It was on my way back to our house that an asian guy came running up the stairs and I asked if he was the owner of the dog. Luckily he turned out to be the actual owner so I didn't have to go forth with calling the RSPCA. Of course he thanked me and my lil sis when we returned his dog.
Just felt like posting this XD.
