It was hot as hell during New Year's Eve AND New Year's Day with the temperature reaching 41 degrees down here in Melbourne. I celebrated by going out with my friends for a 5-hour karaoke session...actually I didn't arrive until about 5 since I was getting my hair cut lol (they LOVE karaoke XD).

Went to have dinner after that before heading around the city which was PACKED full of people. We got to the docklands where it wasn't as crowded as the CBD and it was VERY CLOSE to where the fireworks were being shot from as well, so we got a great view. I didn't take much photos during the fireworks as my phone only takes it at 1.4 mega pixels so the quality ain't that good but here's two to show how close we were.

After the fireworks, we just hung around and sat there on our mat chatting for the next 2 and half hours. There was also two young girls around the age of 10 or 12 on top of a balcony just outside a nightclub yelling "HAPPY NEW YEAR" every minute for about an hour after the fireworks. We also got a free glow in the dark stick from some girl walking by wishing us happy new year hahaha, people were paying for that before the fireworks.

I hope everyone else had a good time during New Year's eve.
