Hey all, feel I dropped off the face of the earth here. Things haven't been the greatest. A couple months ago I found out my Mum's health took a turn for the worst, which was a cause for great worry. She'd been ill for a while, a few years in fact, and unfortunately I had a call from my brother on the 6th of this month to say she passed away.

So I had to organize a flight pretty much immediately. Getting time off work was a joke.They were right bastards in giving me time off. Not my boss mind you, but the head office. No bereavement or compassion leave, forced me to take 9 days holidays instead, then whined about short notice! Really shows how much they value their employees.

Flew to Australia for the funeral, which as far as they go was okay. It was a decent send off. Got back a just few days ago. Back to work tomorrow, for how long I don't know. First chance I get I'm outta there, I won't work for bastards like that.

So yeah, life has been 'interesting' of late
