I hear the Manga had more development of Jo and Meg's relationship (specificaly Yuri based)
Yeah, the whole show lacked anything in otherwise character development.
The still art though is great compared to the abused CGI animation in the show and some what lackluster in comparison animation to the production art and stills.
Hell it was the first anime I skipped and watched the ending. And the ending was still one those "Eh? That's it?" endings.
The art for Burst Angel is misleading because the animation just disappoints in comparison to the stills.
If anything the art is probably sold the show, but people probably wanted to watch Meg and her skimpy outfit.
And so how you expect Jo to be the fan-service character. WROANG!
