[Hawkeye]

A heavy hand yanked her backwards seconds before the Boomers weapon discharged; she could feel the heat as the ion weapon passed inches from her face. However the pain from the burns was nothing compared to the pain she felt as she was thrown to the concrete floor. Looking up, she stared in fear as the boomer was looking down at her. It wasn’t human, but the look on its face was something that you might have seen on an insane murderer.
“Oh God…” she whispered to herself as the boomer weapon charged again, then just as suddenly she was pushed away by a shock blast as the Boomer head exploded in a bright white flash.
Dazed she looked up to see a man standing behind her, in his right arm he held what looked like a Thumper grenade launcher. A worn black leather jacket was all he wore over a military uniform. He looked like he had gone through hell and back, Suddenly a thump could be heard as another BU-55C combat boomer landed nearby searching for it companion.
Hearing this, the man grabbed Linna hand and pulled her up.
“If you wish to live through this day Linna Yamasaki I suggest that you follow me” he said as he reloaded a 40mm grenade into his weapon. She stared at him with an unexpected look
“How do you know my name? who are you?” she asked, he looked up and smiled
“My name Tom Anderson” he said just before a series of secondary explosion started to detonate. “Move now…” he said pulling her along.
