mind my rant.

Halo.

I really really really dont see anything special about it.
And I'm not going on a tangent about Mircosoft either. its a FPS just like any other. sure there are plenty that I play that have special things that make the game fun. but I Just don't see it in Halo.

and what ticks me off the most is people. especially when they go 'OMG, Halo rocks! You're lame if you don't play Halo,... yarr, yarr, yarr...'
trust me. I find Halo... Slow
yup, slow. the game is too slow paced and the movement is so sluggish compared to other games, true that games like UT its impossible to spin 360 degrees and sniper shot someone with a t-gun. BUT STILL, i attempted such with Halo. Not a fun thing where I expect to be facing right behind myself but really i'm looking about just to the right. (yes with the setting CRACKED)


now that part is over. I can say, yes I've tryed the computer version. why?
wasd, and mouse.
cant use a controller to aim with at all. I'd rather look at the person and not their feet.
one more thing that pisses me off about controller players. You cant expect someone who is used to that sort of hand eye cordination to be able to switch right off., cant do it. yet i hear these freaks say that they are faster and more accurate. Bull....shit...

get me into a game of quake 1,2 AND 3, ut, HL DM, NS, CS. Let me have my keyboard and mouse, and let them configure their controller how every they want, ill beat em any... day... of.. the... week.
