Currently working on Jasper Fforde's "Well of Lost Plots" (third in the series, the first is "The Eyre Affair") He manages to make fun of writing, reading, writers, readers, and the entire literary heritage since the eighth century BC. If you're a fan of Terry Pratchett, try Fforde.
Just because it's in the thesaurus doesn't mean it's a good idea.
