Firefox works right for me, but I'm running under GNU/Linux so Stick Out Tongue
I THINK is a extension problem, did you try creating a new profile? normally profiles are stored in your "documents and settings" folder so reinstalling firefox may not be good enough, open the run dialog and put the command "firefox -profilemanager" you may need to write the full path, I don't remember.
