I think I submitted something like that but Lynk is very fussy about the hair and the white lines that you can see....

Make sure white isn't set as you background colour in Photoshop or PSP. The majority of the banner has red in it, use a similar dark red as the background colour for when you cut the original background away from the image . Then cut the image from the red background and paste it onto the random banner.png. Its easier to clean the red outline (if any) than white, and the image blends together better. Thats how I do it anyway.
