Yes, ever since her infamous "wardrobe malfunction" at the superbowl, her career has been in decline and it's kind of sad to see it happen to her after listening to a lot of her songs over the past few days. Her music is great to listen to for the R&B listeners.

I guess it's no surprise to some people here that I like listening to R&B music so liking music from Janet Jackson shouldn't come as a surprise either. I've only recently come to realise that I'm a fan of her after seeing how many CD's I've collected of her music.

Now that's a lot of Janet Jackson stuff I've collected XD, of course there's still some albums and DVD's that I haven't got yet but all these stuff has only just hit me lol.

I suppose the reason I like listening to Janet Jackson music a lot is because of the mood it puts me in, the music beats, her harmonies and the lyrics. I especially like her slow ballads such as the classic "Let's Wait Awhile", "Come Back To Me", "Twenty Foreplay" and "Anytime, Anyplace" even though it's been over 10 years since the release of those songs.

Her more recent ballads off Damita Jo and 20 Y.O. also sound great as the ones above. "Take Care" is an oustanding ballad track off 20 Y.O. and definitely a highlight of that album. It's been on my mobile phone ever since I got it. Another great track off 20 Y.O. is "With U" that showcases some wonderful harmonies from Janet when you listen to the acapella.

As for her more upbeat tracks, I feel "If" from her janet. album is the best she's ever done. It has a catchy intro with the electric guitars and dancy beat. "All Nite (Don't Stop)" from Damita Jo is also another standout dance track and should've been a bigger hit than it was if it wasn't shrouded by the superbowl incident. "That's The Way Love Goes" from janet., another amazing smooth R&B jam for chilling out. There are also songs that puts me in a happy mood such as the memorable "Together Again", "Runaway", "Doesn't Really Matter", "All For You" and "Just A Little While".

It's just so sad to see a music icon fall thanks to one performance tainted by the exposure of a breast. I watched the full superbowl performance and was pretty much surprised to see how much of a big deal it caused when it wasn't even that explicit as a dancer dry humping Janet during the "All For You" performance.

On a different topic, Janet hasn't toured Australia since The Velvet Rope Tour which was nearly 10 years ago so I hope with her 20 Y.O. tour she at least brings it to Melbourne lol. I'd definitely jump at the chance to go see her live in concert after watching her tours on DVD. So enough of me rambling about Janet, anyone here listen to her music or has heard some of her songs?
