Sounds like there isn't enough for me to update to the ADV release, but for anyone who hasn't seen/owned Macross it's definitely a great sounding deal. Actually, Mari doing the dub almost makes me want to impulsively seek it out, but again, I'm positive that I'll be just a finely served with my current set.

I know Lynk likes it, but I found that I didn't like the dub very much (Mari is probably the best part though). A lot of the voices I thought were kind nasally and whiny sounding. I think part of it is that I have a preconceived notion of what the characters should sound like, partially correctly from the original Japanese, and partially incorrectly from Robotech. So that isn't entirely ADV's fault. But in any event, I found that when I tried to watch the English dub I ended up going back to the subs every time.
