I read harry potter also till book 6

first 3 in dutch the later three in english (gonna look to get the first 3 in english also)
in the dutch version they SO messed around with the names

Snape = Sneep
Dumbledore = Perkamentus
Hermoine = Hermients (Hermientje is SUCH a >.< Name in dutch..... )
dursleys = Duffeling (that name I could live with)

I don't know all teh names but these are the ones I remember lol

and I also read the Hannibal series,
imo they're better then the movies lol

now writer wise these are a couple of my favorites:
Weis & Hickman (those 2 write ALOT of novels together)
Stephen King (especially his earlier work.)
the Dun books by father and (after his dad died) son mr Herbert and K.J henderson.
