It already took quite a lot of effort to clean Eva up for the platinum release. Imagine how much effort it would need to take to clean it up further, enhance it and display it at 1080p for High Definition viewing. No matter what you do, you're going to see every single little imperfection no matter how much they try to hide them, and you will notice those seemingly straight lines that you saw on Standard Definition sets will appear as wonkily drawn lines when watching it in High Definition... hell you notice it now with the platinum edition already!
