Great movie which you don't really need to watch the entire TV series to understand (I've only seen the episodes on the DVD from 3 limited edition tins I bought lol) though Lynk says watching it will make you enjoy the film even more lol. I felt the ending was kinda bittersweet, especially for Winry since she'll never see Al & Ed anymore despite the two brothers finally being able to reunite. Also I felt that Noah's character wasn't explained very well about her knowledge of the alchemy world since she was on the real world and there really wasn't any information to how she came about it.
For some reason, I felt Eckhart (the female villain from the reality side if I recall correctly) was kinda like Lust XD, maybe it was just the english dub voice actress that sounded like the one who did Lust (or maybe it was the same one?). Music-wise, I enjoyed the soundtrack overall as they depict the feel and state of Germany was in at the time. There was also the Gypsy song "Let's Dance" sung in the early part of the film that I liked for some reason XD, kinda dancy feel to it, and then there's the ending song "Lost Heaven" by L'arc-en-ciel. I haven't heard much of their music and I'm not usually into their genre but that track sounded like a great way to end the film with the credits rolling. It's kinda disappointing that it doesn't appear on the movie soundtrack though which I'll be getting soon, and I don't wanna buy their album "Wild Flower" just for that track (I guess there's always the net XD).
Again, great movie to watch. As for a sequel happening, I don't really mind if there is or isn't one as I've still got the TV series to get through lol.
