I rather liked GITS:SAC for the PS2, I got the shiny cover. ^^ Anyway, the game was good IMO, not a great game mind you, but good, the controls were easy to master and a sinch to re-learn(I took a long break from it), the 3rd person view panders to my fav style of play, the graphics were very good which IMO kept it from looking like those fixed-arm pose FPS games that seem to be so popular.
my friends and I enjoy playing multi-player mode simply because there are an awesome assortment of weapons and the fact that only certian "size" players could weild them lent themselves to a very interestings type of play, stealth with Motoko, big guns with wasshisface, and then everybody loves being a Tachkoma.
It's an ejoyble game that lends to a slightly different kind of gameplay than your average FPS, or Amored Core game as my games of choice may have been.
