Well, it might be true that other console games are better, but compared to PC games (which I have the most experience with) it's not bad at all; I guess many of you know how average the third-person action genre is there. And I'm also aware that there are many blockbuster games that the SAC game cannot stand up to. Maybe I'm one of those players who simply have fun with any game as long as it's playable and offers something, which SAC certainly does (I've enjoyed other "average" games a lot). I was surprised by the quality of the features and story, though, and that goes above some other anime games as you've said.
