the goodness or badness of games is determined by THE GAME, not the console, there are some craptacular games on ALL the consoles, and there are some kick-ass games on the PS1 and Nes/SNes. If a console can't play the games made for it, we have a problem. Otherwise, blame the game developers, not Sony.

I never said anything about the games. I never said that the PS3 games must all suck just cause it's on the PS3. I have said that there are great games on every console out there and that I make sure to play them all. I never blamed Sony for the games.

yeah, if all I'm interested in is the ability to play PS3 games, it's a total rip, but unlike the Wii, the PS3 is not JUST a gameing console. So stop comparing it to one. I dont see the gamecube capable of playing any Nintendo game, yet, whats this? The PS3 can play any playstation game? Well, I would never have expect that in a console.

I love this paragraph the most Wouldn't it be more accurate to say something like "The PS2 can play PS1 games while the GameCube can't play N64 games"? I'm sure that's what you meant cause there's no way you meant it the way I thought you meant it since Wii can play NES/SNES/N64/GCN/MSX/Turbografix/Genesis games.
