I don't think her nickname was Kaia, if I'm thinking in the person you're thinking
Edit: Kiai maybe? I really forgot
Military Intelligence are two contradictory words
Yeah, Kiai's the right name Mav. Last time I saw her post anywhere was shortly after C3F closed, over at the BGC usenet group. I'm not a regular over there, so I don't know if she's posted since then though...
Yeah, bleah... we lost contact of her because of me closing down the site x.x
You've read it! You can't unread it!
*twiddles thumbs* I know, we'll probably never know if she's alright or not... *cries*

Hmm....I swear I did see Kiai join up the forum since the name was shown as the newest member a few days ago, but when I check the members list it ain't there. Strange...
I saw it too, my guess would be she didn't validate her account yet. I'm not sure how the forum works, but thats the only reason I could see for her name not showing up on the member list.
It's very strange as if she's a ghost coming back to haunt us?
Yes your right the Member list has 36 members listed, while the main page says we got 38 members listed. How she checked her junk mail folder....

IT LIVES! IT LIVES! Yes I'm alive and alright-still have my arm in a carbon fiber cast though. Japanese protestors don't hold punches! When I got done with my tour over there, I ended up here in japan, but the part of japan whose college bound youthe don't really like the military. After my MOS change into the airwing I've been relocated here to work on the fa18c hornet. I thought that, having nearly died a few times overseas in one country that I'd take my chances in the one place I've always wanted to go. I guess a broken arm isn't as bad as a bullet hole, but it was kind of dissapointing to see regular japanese kids booing me and my friends. The protestors threatened to drive a truck filled with signs into the base, so I was ordered to repell the attack. I didn't even make it out of the duties guard shack before I heard a loud yell and something that looked like a baseball bat hit me hard in the arm. I couldn't believe it! A broken arm and a bruised ego.
To linnafan, its so sweet that you were worried about me, and to all those that remembered me and my slightly offkilter name, thanks!
I'll hate to say this, but I hope some Marine Beat the snot out of whoever hit you with a baseball bat, you were doing your job and didn't deserve that.... Other then that.... You lucky.... Your in Japan!!!!

Kiai, very nice to see you back... man, it's still hard for me to imagine that one of our C3F friends is in such a bad situation. Hope there are lots of good times that make up for the pain!
Oh wow, let me tell you, its been hard trudging around in this cast trying to fix things, and then getting hit by this myriad of vaccination side effects. At least my days are always interesting...
