But, work takes priority and I barely want to see a computer after working in front of one for almost 9 hours a day. Wink

Not having internet at home doesn't help either, the only reason I'm on now is I'm at my parents house.

Hopefully I'll have internet again by the middle of June and you'll see more of me whether you like it or not. Big Grin

Well I'm settling into the fact that this forum is dead or dying... and it seems that TACC is the same way... but that's not gonna stop me from making updates to Cloud Age Symphony and getting the web comic episodes made or completing all of the other network sites like I said I would.

I thought I would have at least a small community here, I have next to none. I thought I would have at least 1 or 2 reviews posted up a month. I have less than that happening. But CAS is coming along great and the webcomic is too.

We've got lives to run Lynk lol, well mid-year exams are coming up pretty close now so me and Wolf won't probably get as much reviews done for this month but that doesn't mean for me that I won't try to get some done but anyway I should be studying a lot specially for my Further Maths and Biology tests and SAC's cos I did really shit on those subjects on the last SAC.

But seriously, I think that if we are to get this place active again, it has to be all of us posting more, not just 3 or 4 of us. Because eventually those people run out of things to post about, and that's how it's gotten to this state.

Yeah for the most part it's Moel and I as well as the newer members who create threads these days. Then the rest lurk, the spend quite a bit of time lurking and then leave. So even if we have few new threads and few new things to talk about, those threads are short lived anywayz since hardly any people reply in the first place.

We've had this place full of life with only 10 active members in the past. Where did that all go?

Sorry but as people said, our lives change, for me it been my work load I'm going to be working the forthnight of hell from tomrrow. My department senior at work is taking a two week hoilday and I'm now in charge of POS while she enjoying herself. I hope the GITS on the CS Desk know this so I can get some work done otherwise I'm going up to my boss and handing in my registration notice, Because I'm getting paid peanuts here for I frigging do....

Well aright then, I guess the LF regulars who also have busy lives just like LF a lot more...

So, even though I know all this work is a waste of time, I might as well continue on with it. I did pay for all of this after all. Everyone was so sad to see this place go and I had people bugging me to put it back up, etc etc.

I don't see how people can be too busy to post on a forum, but I guess I'm weird because I make time in my schedule to do that because I post on so many forums.

It only really takes about 5 minutes to go through all of the threads and post stuff, unless you're creating a very long and indepth post.

Either way, I can't force people to post, so I'll have to treat this place as if I have no members and have to start from scratch... time to get a new generation of members in here and stop hanging onto the old.

Yes but it hard to find something that I can relate to in most threads, I' haven't seen every anime or manga out there. And finding the time to create new threads is limited.

Well it depends on the users whether or not they want to actually post something that will relate to the topic rather than spamming a few words which is utterly pointless and a waste of time.

The main problem here to why there's so little activity going on can be a number of reasons but the two most common one at the moment is

1) We're all busy, we all know that and when we do get back here we've run out of things to say or to start a topic.
2) We've got very little active members, out of the 105 I can only see around 10-12 members who frequently post.

lol well this is getting the forum a bit more active when you kick it up the butt but how long this lasts surely depends on the members.

that's not my job lol, I've already advertised this place from places where anime is a popular focus unless you want to advertise it at those porno places from what the search list you have shown lol.

Perhap you should include an amv section as part of the downloads, that is if you can get permission from the creators.

why don't you list out the options we have to get more activity here?

We've already talked about this, I'd gladly have an AMV section... but we have no AMVs... If I had the chance to make AMVs myself I'd have em all up on TACC.

Well I've made one for RahXephon but I don't want that to be on the site as I'm currently re-editing it and putting it in a higher quality, I'm thinking of maybe even submitting it in for Manifest lol.

Other than that I'm planning on making another amv for His And Her Circumstances. Oh yeah didn't Rach also make an amv for bubblegum crisis? Ask her for permission if you could use that.

I come and go. I post when I'm in the mood and when I see a topic that interest me. I make a topic about an anime series if I know if another person watching that anime series, like I did with Mai HIME and Otome. I post in the Anime section mostly. It's one of the only things that interest me at the moment. I'm "meh" toward to video games world at the moment. I'm not going to force myself to post since that's just not fun. It's not the fact of being too busy. Just the interest level. At the moment, I want to discuss certain anime series. That's about it.

Just letting you know, that my prime laptop is in Limbo. While I wish I could be here as much as I'm usual lurking here, for the forseeable future I won't be on as much untill I shorted this out.
