is there a dog inside?
if so the dog may have taken it? XD (this one is tough...)
The girl shot a portal into the room under the ball through the window and made the exit portal outside
@ kin37ik: Sorry, no dog. And its not that hard.
@ Chim: sorry, nothing portal related.
she opened the window and picked the ball.

since the glass in the window is open/broken she can now open the window from the outside and pick the ball and maybe hide it.
on the other hand this may be the work of the man wearing a tophat and a monacle in a hot air balloon. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
now math!
a = b
a² = ab
a² + (a² - 2ab) = ab + (a² - 2ab)
2a² - 2ab = a² - ab
2a(a-b) = a(a-b)
2a = a
2 = 1
that can't be, math never fails, what did i do wrong?
Military Intelligence are two contradictory words
Can't divide by zero?
Nope, sorry folks. Its just happens that its not one of those windows that open. And don't worry about maths, guys, it won't help. I didn't think it'd be that hard. Here's a clue to help those who need it:
Think of the weather. Why is the teacher sick?
It was a snow ball and it melted XP
good one chim, hehehe never thougth of that there's no snow in my country.
Good job chim, the answer was that the ball was a snowball and it melted. Okay time for another one. But before I type anything, I must warn you guys, this one is pretty tough and requires a lot of lateral thinking.
Jim was house sitting for his friend Stan. One night, Jim received a call. "Please, you must come to 12 Holland Drive, and bring the beer." Jim was confused and the caller hung up before Jim could give an answer. So, Jim went into the basement and had indeed found a case of beer. However, when he arrived at 12 Holland Drive, he found that he had made a terrible mistake.
What was his mistake?
Chimasterwang Wrote:Can't divide by zero? dunno, you're asking me? answers with a question mark are wrong by default, try to be a little less undefined yourself Chim.

2a(a-b) = a(a-b)
2a = a
If a = b then a-b is 0. You can't divide both sides by (a-b) because you can't divide by 0 XP
I am division by zero so im undefined! Jking
correct, was that hard to say that from the start?
Military Intelligence are two contradictory words
no on dared to answer wolfs puzzle wahahahaha.
Is more like a guessing game so I haven't bothered to think about it, I prefer puzzles where all the clues are on the table, not like this one or the snow ball one.
Military Intelligence are two contradictory words
All the clues are there, you just have to think outside the box. But, if you need a clue, just ask.

how the hell did you get (a^2 - 2ab) ?

He forgot the beer?
No, but close. It is something to do with the beer.
Nope, didn't drop the beer. As I keep on saying, think outside the box. Here's a hint: he brought the wrong "beer".
@Scar, you can add anything to an equation as long you don't break the equality, adding anything to both sides of the equal sign keeps the equality, so « a² = ab » is the same than « a² + A = ab +A » and A can be anything, adding (a^2 - 2ab) was convenient in this case for reach the (wrong) 2 = 1 result.
Military Intelligence are two contradictory words
yeah, but you dont normally throw in something almost random.
what you did was took both sides of the equasion and made it fundamentally lopsided. you cant just 'double' a factor. you can take away factor's if they exsist on both sides of the equasion.
one side has two a^2's and the other has two 2ab's
otherwise the only way that I'd see it possible of adding it like that would be:
a^2 - (a^2 + 2ab) = 2ab - (a^2 + 2ab)

non-alchoholic ginger beer? xD
Nope. Think about why that word is in quotation marks.
he's not invited in the party, stan was supposed to deliver the beer?
No. Again, think about why that word is in the quotation marks. Here's another hint if you need it: Maybe he misheard the word "beer".
hmm, this one is a tough one......
*thinks*
*sweats*
*faint*
*woke-up*
he got the wrong address, whahaha so simple. XD
It was a barbecue and he was meant to bring beef?
I am a Member, Not a Number!!!
Sorry, Hawkeye, not beef. But you're on the right track. he was meant to bring something that sounded like beer. Maybe a homonym?
If I don't get it after this many hints... I'm pretty bad at this.
He was supposed to bring a 'bear'... maybe a stuffed bear for a children's party?
Keep going. There are more words that sound like "beer".
aeer?
ceer?
feer?
Geer?
Heer?
Jeer?
Keer?
Leer...
I am a Member, Not a Number!!!
keep going hawk keep going!!! XD
What's with all the words ending in -eer? Its a homonym, not a rhyme.
