Yesterday I took a trip on the HMS Arunta (AUS Navy)
It was a neat trip. The 15 minute RHIB ride to and from was nice and smooth. It was awsome going accross the open water like that.
As for the ship, I liked the design of their ship. Was interesting how everyone works on the the same system of how hatches are organised and labeled. But I like their hatches better, compared to my 8 year old ship vs their 10 year old one...

And, of course, I had the once in a navy opertunity to eat (I dare say it) hot galley food!!

I was there for four hours then a trip back to my ship, had a little buzz of excitement for pretty much the rest of the day

That's HMAS Arunta Kookee, only Royal Navy ships of the UK get the HMS Prefix, all former or current Commonwealth countries have a variant of it but only British have HMS on there title. I think the crew of an ANZAC ship whould be more shocked then me.....
