Yesterday I took a trip on the HMS Arunta (AUS Navy)
It was a neat trip. The 15 minute RHIB ride to and from was nice and smooth. It was awsome going accross the open water like that.
As for the ship, I liked the design of their ship. Was interesting how everyone works on the the same system of how hatches are organised and labeled. But I like their hatches better, compared to my 8 year old ship vs their 10 year old one...
And, of course, I had the once in a navy opertunity to eat (I dare say it) hot galley food!!
I was there for four hours then a trip back to my ship, had a little buzz of excitement for pretty much the rest of the day
