Yeah, this isn't a kind of poll I can really take part in since I prefer generally good games to just games of a certain kind... plus, as Chim said, there are a lot of types not listed there that should be.

FPS mostly. RPGs only if i can create/design the character like in elder scrolls or like in mmorpgs. rpgs like KotOR and FF are ok, but i prefer ones where i can do whatever the hell i want without the story (as good or bad as it may be) getting in the way.

I picked FPS even though I'm a fan of RTS as well, is just that I play FPS more, and I like a lot those RPG that are from a first person point of view (or is it FPS with RPG elements?), such as The Elder Scrolls, S.T.A.L.K.E.R or Bloodlines, I just don't like the 3rd person point view or those games that have no apparent end like in MMOs.

didn't play stalker, all I saw are the trailer videos, but I read that the game is somewhat buggy and It didn't turn to be what it was announced first.

they would have fixed most of those bugs by now, they have about 4 or 5 patches for it xD
