sounds interesting to say the least, dunno if I'm very fond of the characters with an anime-art spin on them. That Clone Wars that Cartoon Network produced was interesting but the anime-ish style didnt make me happy.

Clone Wars is a great example of the style i'm talking about. That almost over the top, kickass-ness XD Those Clone Troopers are so damn cool.

Well yeah, that's exactly what the series was meant to be about, just non-stop action. That's why the episodes for the first season were only 5 minutes long. It's not until the second season when the episodes became longer did they try to include more of a plot and depth to it.

YES!
As you can see I love star wars. This is a combination of 2 great things, Anime and Star Wars. Just like peanut butter and jelly... or something.

I guess it really depend on how the do it. Like if it's a serious attempt, then they can pull it off quit well. But if it's some screw ball slap stick thing, then I will deffinatly give it a miss.
To me, releasing a Manga Version of various Star Wars stuff it really no different that a lot of the other Expanded Universe work that is currently out there.
You got your good stuff and bad stuff.
So putting the worlds MANGA and STAR WARS together is not going to make me pick it up any more that if if it wasn't. At least these are genuinely from Japan (or other parts of asia) judging from the name.
It's not like Adam Warran's Star War's Movie Adaptations that made me thing "UH.... What's the point?"
*gasps* anime in star wars? My friends gonna flip when she hears that. She's a Star Wars mania fan >.<

Clone Wars had a horrible style of animation. It really wasn't suited for portraying things realistically. That and the overuse of CGI in scenes that really didn't need it(Gundam SEED/Destiny is even guiltier...)
As for the manga stuff, it varies. Call me when the put out an anime.
True clone wars wasn't suited for portraying things realistically, but first of all, since when is star wars really realistic, and second of all, i'm thinking from the over-the-top action scenes (the clone commander fighting on a bridge that simultaneously fights twenty droid soldiers in a style reminiscent of Rambo comes to mind) and lack of storyline make it pretty clear that "realism" is not the intended effect. Depending on what it set out to achieve, you could say that Clone Wars succeeded admirably
