Wow, according to ANN, the ADV Films site (advfilms.com) got hacked by a Turkish group called "ayyildiz"...

Apparantly it seems to be a totally random attack and wasn't directed towards ADV for any reason relating to anime. Hopefully ADV can get their site back up and back to normal, they really didn't deserve to have this done to them at all.

Most sites that do get hacked, don't deserve it. This group just seem to be hacking sites at random. Sprending a propaganda message through the hacked site. It's an odd way of sprending propaganda.

Aw... I wish they could have hacked FUNimation's website... maybe then FUNi'd be inspired to make it a lot less ugly.

People give FUNimation too much crap these days, I think it's becoming unfair, especially after their magnificent work with Fullmetal Alchemist. FUNimation is not the enemy... 4Kids is.

I agree, Fullmetal Alchemist is one of my favorite animes, I think they did a good job on it.

Yeah their website is dull with all the gray... but other than that, who cares lol. It's pretty much the same as what ADV had and it's a lot more straight foward than the Geneon Animation site.

funimations site looks fine to me. like it was said before the real enemy is 4Kids.

the only good thing i see about 4kids licencing popular anime is if you want merchandise, you can buy it in any departmant store on the cheap.
