Remember awhile back when I tried to get the current design of BGCC back to the old colour scheme because you guys voted it that way? Well as you all know, I tried to get it done but it didn't look all that great and to top it the forum didn't want me to implement the design either at the time for some stupid reason.

To be honest, I wasn't that thrilled with simply changing the colour scheme. I designed the current layout for BGCC to work with the current colour scheme, you can't simply change the colours and expect it to work... so I've come up with a solution. Smoosh the old design and colour scheme with the current one.

And this is what I came up with.

So, anywayz... what do you guys think?... Personally, I love the design as a design itself... but it sucks in terms of readability...

The color scheme reminds me of Gatchaman for some reason... but I still like it XD

I think it looks pretty sweet, I could see how some people might think its hard on the eyes but personally I've never had problems with that so I think it looks fine.

well I can read it even on my crappy old monitor (switched it), the only difficult part to read I find is the hover style of the navbar links, a blue a bit more darker for the background color would contrast better with the red text I think, maybe #000050? I'm lazy to edit it and test it myself Stick Out Tongue

Navigation is much more easier here, and reminds me the old bgcc, the current blue-white design is good, the select series page is kind of neat, but overall I like this one better. Thumbs-up

XD The funny thing is that I used #000050 as the hover for the nav bar in the old design lol.

I only did (33 + 66) / 2 = 49 and round it to 50

Well there you go, two characters edited in the css file later and it's set to #000050
