Earthquake shakes Peru

These kinds of stories make me shiver because I live in California, which is an earthquake "danger zone". There's always the possibility that the "big one" could hit us at any time.

Anyway, I'm just wondering what you guys think of this disaster in Peru. I'm interested in your serious opinions.

There isn't much else to add, since it's a natural disaster these things happen you like it or not, the city of Pisco was destroyed in a 70% so they weren't really prepared this, though I not sure if a city can be prepared for hold a magnitude 8 earthquake.
