LOL I've just heard that an anime of Animal Crossing is in the works and involves the staff who worked on the game.

Nintendo needs to do another animated Mario series, I think now's the right time for one just as long as you set it in mushroom kingdom, use the mario artstyle and get some clever writers in to do the comedic parts. It would need a story though and not just episodal madness.
